Helping your child receive a quality education is our goal! Our Launch Educational Consultants help you accomplish that goal by partnering with you to navigate the sometimes complex school system; set individual goals based on your child's unique needs, strengths, and talents; and then developing strategies to achieve those individualized goals!
LAUNCH Educational Consultant Services
Depending on the customized action plan developed with your child in mind, our partnership may include the following services:
- Conduct a comprehensive review of academic and cognitive testing to determine your child’s learning strengths and weaknesses
- Review your child’s Individualized Education Program (IEP)
- Equip you with strategies for working with your child
- Prepare educational guidance to help your understanding of education law, regulations, and processes
- Provide advocacy
- Attend Committee on Special Education (CSE) meetings, 504 Plan meetings, and/or other school meetings
Expected Outcomes of Educational Consulting
Educational consultants can help you:
- Develop an understanding of your child’s learning profile
- Understand your child’s strengths
- Support your child’s academic needs
- Navigating the educational system and access school resources
- Work collaboratively with school staff
- Develop learning strategies for your child
Eligibility:
School-aged children, 5 - 21 years old who are experiencing difficulties in school.
